Notes on submitting materials If you will be shipping your original
art work to us we recommend that you use USPS priority mail, FedEx or UPS. Please be
sure that all frames and glass have been removed, however, if the work is
already matted, or in the case of canvas on stretcher bars, they should be left
alone and shipped as is. Transparencies and CD's can be mailed in photo
envelopes. If you are concerned about bending, place the material in between
two bend resistant materials. If you will submitting your own digital file,
please refer to the requirements listed on our services
page.
Your work will be returned to you
in the same containers that they were originally shipped in. For work that can
be rolled, 3-4 inch mailing tubes should suffice. You can also place the tubes
into the triangular boxes, provided by USPS and FedEx for further protection.
If you are shipping flat works we recommend that you use the shipping boxes that
are provided by
Masterpak or other similar containers. If you want a more turn key
solution we would suggest a company like
Craters &
Freighters which will do all of the work for you.
Always include shipping insurance in the
event of damage or loss during shipment.
Be sure to provide insurance for
the value of the work. While we will professionally handle your work, submittal
constitutes an
agreement by the client that any damages or loss by our company will only
entitle you to a replacement of like raw materials and media.
It is your responsibility to insure them for a value deemed necessary any time
they leave your possession.
